Thank you for your interest in our cloth aisle runners.Most runners are special ordered and not in stock. We have a limited amount of stock, if you need a runner ASAP please call or email. The white (35/36" and 60") and Ivory (35/36",48" and 60") are available in 2-5 weeks. All other new 55/60" designer colors take 1-2 months...call if you have a rush order for our designer colors. If the designer colors need to be adjusted into a special width, please allow more time and call us for the additional sewing charge.
Color Swatches
Because all runners are special-ordered, they are non-refundable once we have placed your order and the runner is being made. Before we order your runner, we can send out swatches for your approval. While the swatches are close to the color ordered, your runner shade may have a small variation in the shading. This should be anticipated and is within commercial tolerances.
Fabric
We are a florist... over the last 20 years... we have personally watched thousands of brides walk on our runners, inside and outdoors. We have seen the performance of our fabric. Our runners (non-painted) can be dry-cleaned, press, rolled, and used again. Our fabrics do have different weights to them ~ they are chosen for the perfect color shades, durability, and high quality. The runner fabric is not "fine dress" quality; it is fabric that is sold for the purpose of being walked on - used for an aisle runner.
- All runners have finished (or surged) sides and are finished at both ends.
- Runners have approximate widths of 35/36" ,48" or 58/60".
- Most white and Ivory 58/60" runners are closer to 60".
- Runners have no seems, nor are they pieced together.
If you order a 36" runner
Using the ushers to pull the runner down the aisle, you will need a metal pull bar. The metal bar is a special price of $10.00, normally $50.00. Our 48" runners have heavy ribbon to pull down the aisle, our 60" runners have NO ribbon or metal bars for them, they are meant to be "prelaided before the guests arrive, free ribbon closes off the aisle and the guests are seated from "side aisles".

Double-Wide Runners
If you order a 55/60" runner, the runner must be laid and fastened down before guests arrive (it is too wide for the ushers to pull down the aisle). You must close off the end of the aisle with ribbon and seat guests from the side aisles. If you are doing this, we provide you with FREE ribbon to tie across the aisle. Choosing the correct runner width is also explained in further detail on our website, http://www.artisticaisles.com/.
- To secure the runner to tile, cement, marble, or wood floor, we recommend you use white duct tape. This can be purchased from almost any hardware store.
- To secure the runner on carpet aisles, we include FREE pearl pins ~ just let us know if you need them. All runners are shipped with installation directions.
Hand Painted Runners
The purchase of the runner is a separate transaction from the purchase of the runner graphics.
Painted runners are not sold at our store presently but you may purchase the runner itself here. Simply mention you are interested in having it painted at the time you place the order and it will be transferred to my studio at no additional charge. I will send you a separate order form and samples after we have discussed the design you are interested in through E-mail or over the phone. |
