The ushers can pull a 36" down the aisle (with a metal bar NOT a rope).  The 48" runners have heavy ribbon to pull it down the aisle. Artistic Aisles also offers the fabulous "double wide" runners that are 60" for a great formal look down the aisle.  The wide 60" runners are too heavy and wide for the ushers, they must be prelaid down the aisle before the ceremony and the guests must be seated from side aisles.  The 60" runners are available in 45 colors!!
